Welcome to QuakerSpeak—a video series from Friends Journal. We’ve been hard at work producing our eighth season of interviews with Quakers of diverse backgrounds and experience, and I’m so excited about the videos that this year has in store!
This year, we’ll be releasing a new video every other week, allowing for extra time in production so we can go even more in-depth with the spiritual and cultural topics we’ll be covering. Between the premiere episodes, we’ll continue to share some of our favorite interviews from our first seven seasons.

Avis Wanda McClinton: Down on my knees preparing the beds for the plants, I just talk to God as I work the earth.
Ran Smith: One voice came very clearly that said, “You should go to Quaker meeting.” And I did. I went there.

Enjoyed them last year!
Thanks for producing them for this year. I have just moved to Longview Texas. And they were a great way to remain Spiritually connected in isolation of the pandemic.
Let’s re awake Quakerism . It is such an aware way to celebrate “religion”. And combine it with Right Action. I am glad to be part of this.
