What does the Quaker practice of listening for Spirit look like in our day-to-day lives? How does it shape our relationship to the prophetic wisdom of the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament? Can recognizing that God may speak “afresh and anew” through any of us change our understanding of community?
Over the last few months, we’ve asked several Friends to discuss their understanding of continuing revelation.
What has your experience of continuing revelation been like on a personal level? How has it shaped the life of your meeting? Share your thoughts in our comments section…

Loved it but far too short. Blessings,
Thank you for this piece about continuing revelation. Continuing revelation invites us to keep listening, learning, and growing in our experience and understanding with and about our God of Love.
These Friends speak my mind. They are not all speaking in the same terms, and might not all take the same positions on different issues, but they all are listening and learning, as I try to do.
