Welcome to QuakerSpeak—a video series from Friends Journal. We’ve been hard at work producing our ninth season of interviews with Quakers of diverse backgrounds and experience, and I’m so excited about the videos that this year has in store!
This year, we’ll be releasing a new video every other week, allowing for extra time in production so we can go even more in-depth with the spiritual and cultural topics we’ll be covering. Between the premiere episodes, we’ll continue to share some of our favorite interviews from our first eight seasons.

Transcript:
Welcome to QuakerSpeak – a video series from Friends Journal featuring interviews with Quakers from all different backgrounds.
Chris Stern: Religion can so often be something that we wear, that we put on from the outside, but the power within the Quaker message was that there’s an experience that can come to us inwardly.
Debbie B. Ramsey: The meeting house that I worship at, our faith we put forth into action. And that’s how I see myself, as an action person.
Johanna Jackson: I envision a network of really vibrant, interesting people who have the time to be with one another. I want to be part of that!
This year, we’re releasing a new video every other Thursday. The best way to keep up with our project is to subscribe at QuakerSpeak.com/subscribe. Subscription is free —just enter your email address. Please check the description below this video for the link.
