Quite a noble initiative of keeping our environment safe for human and animal habitation, through making it Naturally green and clean, free from pollution on any kind.

the earth and our health is in crisis because of global warming and the indiference of world leaders and power brokers to get involved in programs to start reducing pollution.

I am already deeply involved in various efforts to mitigate the worst of global warming. I have wondered about the value of one more group doing this work under it’s own banner. I am persuaded that the value of Earthcare is to bear witness to the catastrophe that is overtaking us, to show our faith to continue working despite that, and to use our history of nonviolent protest to get change. However, I need to see that the process is not just more meetings.

Leaders in political and religious sectors must propagate peace and unity among all nations and communities in the world. Environmental Matters are each and everyone’s responsibility. Every little contribution made by any individual towards saving our environment will always count. Let’s have unity of purpose in saving the world for mankind.

The biggest threat to our environment is human interfearance.
We talk a lot about climate change and we do very little about it and we do things the same old way .

Quakers have a role to play in matters of environmental conservation, which they should uphold as a Devine assignment in responsibility of origin from Scriptural reference in Genesis 2:15 “The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and .” Take care of it as it is the practice in Vihiga and else where in Kenya and the rest of the Africa is what is not observed.
I urge Vihigan Quakers to revart back to humility, faithfulness, honesty, and obedience, in heeding to the call of replacement of Eucalyptus tree species from riparian land. This way we shall be taking care of the earth in deeds.
